Biomarker assays: analysis of ex-vivo samples
Ex-vivo sample analysis provides a means to confirm the in-vivo effect of test compounds and to identify the correlation between in vivo efficacy and biomarkers. In this study, ex-vivo rat and mouse plasma samples, and human plasma from healthy donors were analysed for cytokines as biomarkers.
Rat plasma (ex-vivo)

Mouse plasma (ex-vivo)

Human plasma (In-vitro)

BioMedha can support biomarker assays in different formats, identifying biomarkers indicative of compound activity against a molecular target or downstream effects on pathways. Samples for analysis include blood, plasma, serum, and tissue extractions.
