Transcription Factor activation

Transcription Factors (TF) are DNA binding proteins that act as sensors to monitor changes within cells and regulates the amount of messenger RNA (mRNA) produced by the gene. BioMedha has extensive expertise in conducting TF activation studies and measuring compound effect on TF activation associated with diseases including:

  • Cancer
  • Neurodegeneration (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases)
  • Atherosclerosis, heart failure and type 2 diabetes
  • Lysosomal biogenesis
  • T cell development
  • Protein misfolding
